This is my second...
This is my second Browning Citori Hunter from Buds Gun Shop. I bought one several years ago but sold it so I could build a long range rifle. When I was looking through the Browning website I saw this Grade 1 Hunter It was a great deal for $1779.49. It is not often that you can find a Browning O/U Citori for less than $2k. This Citori is easily balanced, easy to shoulder and very easy to swing left and right when shooting skeet, five stand and trap. The gun club where I shoot offers all three. You can select which barrel you want to discharge first either the upper or lower. It has ejectors for the spent shell. When you break open the shotgun the empty shells pop right out. I am over six foot tall so the 28" barrel fits me just fine. It is heavy enough to tame the recoil of any 3" shell all the way to geese load. The fit and finish of this Citori is what you expect from Browning. The satin finish is beautiful, The isn't any engraving or scroll work on the shotgun as you might find in a more expensive model which is just fine with me. Fancy engraving won't improve my score! The Citori shotgun is a descendent of the Browning Superpose and you cannot ask for a better pedigree than than as well as the genius of John M. Browning behind this shotgun. I say pull the trigger on this model and you won't be disappointed.
