Bought This as A Birthday Present For My Mom A Few Years Ago, She Wanted to Learn How To Shoot Clay Targets And Couldnt Handle The recoil Of A 12 Gauge, So I Decided To Buy Her This, She Still Has It to This Day And Absolutely Loves It, Much Better On The Recoil For Her, And Good For Those Who Just Cant Handle recoil Well In General Or are Just Getting Into Shotguns.

bought this for My wife to use for small game and clay bird shooting. she is 5 ft tall and has short arms. This little shotgun fits her perfectly. She was using a singleshot .410, but this little 20ga. adds so much more power in just as small of a package and she loves the fit and feel of it. Great little gun, am planning on buying another for all the grandkids to share as they get old enough to take to the woods. Since we live in a shotgun only state, I'm sure there will be a rifled slug barrel in the near future too.

A: No, the 505 youth barrel does not fit standard 500 or Maverick 88 shotguns or vice versa John. Only exception is the Maverick 88 and 500 series interchange.

A: The 505 will not fit on the 500 The 505 has a shortened magazine tube which means that the barrel lug (where attaches to magazine tube) is shorter (From rear of barrel) on the 505
