Bought this shotgun...
Bought this shotgun for security. It was well packaged and arrived promptly. The shotgun is well made and has a very smooth sliding action. Shot 3 in buckshot with no problems but hold firmly or you're gonna get a bruise. Don't let the youth model name fool you. It is built for security or some bird hunting if you like. Rock Island makes good products. Nice price for a nice gun. If you are looking for this kind of hybrid, go for it. I think you will be pleased.

A: Hi Patrick, yes sir, this will handle buck shot with no issues. It will also handle slugs. If you shoot slugs, use the improved cylinder choke tube, do not shoot slugs through a full choke. With either one, you can use both 2.75" or 3" shells. Stay safe & have a great day!
