A: This is indeed a 12GA and comes with " Includes Extra-full choke tube (Win. choke pattern ½-32UN)" Buds is understaffed at the moment and sometimes the item descriptions get flubbed a bit but the 12 ga is model 57666 (same as this one) and the 410 model number is 19253 Full details on savages website https://www.savagearms.com/content?p=firearms&a=product_summary&s=19253

Q: Can the picatinny rail on the top of the receiver be easily removed if I wanted to repurpose the gun to shoot trap or something where I do not wish to use a red dot or scope?
