Q: The discrimination mentions Capacity as 4+1. I have always heard that shotguns shouldn't be stored with a round in the chamber since they are not drop safe. Is this gun drop safe?

A: No, you shouldn't store a shotgun with a shell chambered. Best way to have it ready is in "Cruiser" mode. That's when it's totally unloaded & safety checked. You rack it & leave it ready for the next shot as if it were fully loaded. Then. You load the tube with the 4 shells and put the safety on. Now, in case you need to get down to business, you just flip safety off & rack. They'll be no need to fumble with the slide action release.

A: It's chambered for 3" so it will absolutely shoot the smaller 2-3/4" shells. I looked and could not find a tube extension for this model.

A: Hi Bruce and welcome. Yes Sir. Same concept as a .357 Magnum being able to fire the shorter .38 Special. A particular length chamber can fire that length or shorter shells. A: yes it will cycle most 2 3/4 inch shells. it may not cycle "light" target loads
