Q: I know SDS Imports & Tokarev are the same company but they are two different brands. I'm confused on this product. Is this Tokarev or SDS Imports? Can this shoot buckshot & slug combo made by Winchester at 1150 velocity? Some gun companies say semi-auto shotguns should shoot at least 1300 to operate.

(1) ANSWER
A: Hi Jason, Tokarev is the brand. SDS is the importer & distributor. So, it is a Tokarev shotgun imported by SDS imports. The owners manual doesn't say anything about using high velocity shells, so you'll just have to see what works. It does say in order to get the best performance and not to damage the shotgun, heavy load piston must be used with the shells which are 36 grams or 1 1/4 ounce and above.
