Received the Beeman BP50 from Buds two days ago - much sooner than I expected. I just took it out to the back marsh with an empty Lysol Spray Can and some Defense Innovation .50 Cal 1.8g nylon/PVC projectiles to see whether the balls would dent the pretty thick can from up close - 3 feet or so. Surprise. The ball ripped through both sides of the can, leaving clean half-inch exit holes with shredded metal. Also, surprise - the thing is nearly as loud as a powder burner; the shot echoed across the marsh, and likely was going to arouse suspicion from neighbors that a firearm was being operated in the neighborhood, even though we are at the edge of the town. After a couple of minutes spent marvelling at the damage to the can, I tried a second shot with the same result, including the astonishingly loud report. I wanted to 'play' with this BP50 a lot more, but didn't want to push my luck with the noise level. Needless to say, I am very impressed with the power of this very inexpensive 'launcher'. I will probably take it to a large enclosed indoor walk-in closet to expend the two magazines' worth of shots left in the CO2 cartridge. This BP50 is a very impressive product. I have the Pistelle .68 Cal, which packs a wallop, but is a bit unwieldy size-wise; I carry it in an over-the-shoulder bag by Bryna. This BP50 I can comfortably carry in an IWB holster.
