If you're wanting an alternative to Brass cleaning picks, These can certainly get the Job done in limited capacity. While the Nylon feels generally sturdy, the bulkiness of the picks leaves much to be desired when getting in the small crevices of your firearms. Handy to have, But I would absolutely recommend getting brass picks over these for thorough cleaning and greasing.
