I received triple...
I received triple crown in great shape. A day later I showed gun to a friend of mine. It was starting to drizzle outside I handed gun to my buddy and he noticed on the wood stock that there were spots on it. Every where the drizzle touched the stock it left a water stain within a minute. My buddy shouldered the gun and liked the weight of the gun but as he lowered the gun I noticed a smear on the side of his face. It was apparent the wood stain was coming off the stock . I didn't buy the gun for its wood finish so it really didn't bother me. But for those that want a wood finish you might want to keep the gun dry and not use it while its raining. The other thing I noticed was the stock that was on the gun was not the same that was pictured on the website. The back bone of the stock had a riser cut out on it 2 inches forward of the butt plate. Overall I'm happy with the way the gun shoots. I have had the Triple Crown Magnum on my wish list for awhile. One just came in stock and I placed the order. I should recieve it next week. It comes with the Real Tree Max3 Camo. I just hope that the Camo doesn't come off as easy as the wood stain did. If it does my review will be less positive. Because I actually purchased the gun for waterfowl hunting. I will be contacting the manufacturer of the gun to let them know the stain is coming off just so they can make changes if they feel it's necessary. If anyone would like to speak with me directly my Cel is 210-415-8188. Thanks Mark Forster
