Great Price! Seems to be all composite plastic, I cut the ring with a pair of linemen pliers. Can really do some damage if you're throwing a punch but the edges are not sharp and cannot be sharpened.

There's a lot to like...

There's a lot to like about this product including the incredibly low price and there's some stuff that I didn't care for. Pros: Very sturdy construction. Extremely lightweight. Sharp tip which is crucial and the blade sides are not, so you won't accidentally cut yourself or your clothes as long as you're careful about the tip. The reason for this is self defense and what's good about its employment is that it doesn't really require much "training" to use effectively. It's completely intuitive. Just punch at the head and throat regions. You nick an artery or vein and the attack is over. Cons: I didn't like that there was no sheath. A simple cordura nylon one with a plastic clip would be great. I also didn't like the fact that the fob ring couldn't be removed. Gripping it with that attached in a tight fighting grip was a little bit awkward. But in an emergency, I doubt I'd notice that. Still it'd be nice to be able to remove it. I highly recommend this product.
