I bought this rifle...
I bought this rifle because I wanted a rifle with 1) nitro piston power, and 2) fiber optic sights. It met those criteria. I like the size and weight of this rifle, as I am 6'3" and 200 lbs. As others have mentioned, the rifle is a little hard to cock, but that's to be expected on a rifle with the velocity that it produces. The cocking effort does seem to be getting better. The wooden stock is very nice for a rifle in this price range. However, I noticed that the left side of the stock was rubbing the breech area of the barrel during the cocking process. So, i used a small sanding drum in a Dremel to take some wood off the stock in this area. While I had the Dremel out, I also opened up the stock around the left side of the rear sight when the barrel is fully broken open. I also drilled another hole in the trigger guard for better access to the trigger-adjusting screw. Out of the box, the trigger was VERY hard. However, there are some simple, inexpensive fixes on YouTube for improving the trigger pull. After working on it, the trigger pull on my rifle is MUCH better now. This rifle is fairly easy take apart. I have not mounted the included scope yet. I am still using the fiber optic sights, although I may add a (better) scope in the future. I mainly use this rifle for plinking. I am not a big fan of air rifles and nowhere near an authority, but I have owned several pellet rifles and like this one the best.
