The LMT Defense MARS-L MRP is a semi-automatic 5.56×45 rifle built around LMT’s patented monolithic rail platform. The monolithic upper is milled from a single aerospace aluminum forging, providing a rigid 18.5 in uninterrupted Picatinny rail at 12 o’clock with M-LOK attachment points on the remaining sides. A 16 in chromoly barrel with 1:7" RH twist delivers reliable performance in a direct-impingement system, while the ambidextrous MARS-L lower brings ambidextrous controls and a SOPMOD stock for fast, intuitive operation.
