The SureFire SFROD338 .338 Caliber Bore Alignment Rod is a precision machined tool used to check suppressor and barrel alignment before the first round fired on a new setup. By inserting the rod through the mounted suppressor of an unloaded firearm, you can visually confirm equal spacing between the centered rod and the bore of the suppressor to help validate concentricity.
