The YHM Thread Protector 556 1/2-28 is a stainless steel muzzle thread protector made for barrels with a .920 OD. It threads onto your rifle’s 1/2-28 muzzle threads to help protect the barrel threads from wear and damage when a muzzle device is not installed.
