I just picked this gun...
I just picked this gun up today.I ordered it on Wednesday it came on Tuesday the following week.this is my first purchase from buds and I'm very impressed with customer service and away the expedited the shipping of my purchase.I have not shot the weapon yet but it appears to be of quality workmanship!I read the owners manual and I've completely stripped it and cleaned it ready to go to the range.from what I've read about this piece is going to be a wonderful shooter and having spoken to browning technicians about it I feel confident it will run flawlessly for thousands of rounds.I have noticed that there are now available several aftermarket products such as grips and holsters to accommodate my purchase.I really agree with Browning's idea about the reduction of size to accommodate the smaller caliber I am of the opinion that this is what needed to be done to have a flawless operating pistol but the track record that the original full size weapon is inherent to.thanks to buds my local gun shop and browning producing a gorgeous weapon I will try to follow up later after I have shot this piece.I was reluctant to spend this kind of money for a small lightweight 22 but after handling it inspecting it and taking it apart to clean I was very very impressed.I would highly recommend this gun to any 1911 die hard enthusiast.
