First I want to say,...
First I want to say, BUDS was great. Now for the bad. This gun is an absolute dumpster fire. Trigger was about 8 pounds, not very accurate, wavy machine marks on the top of the slide where the cocking serations are, magwell rattles like crazy after a couple hundred rounds. Really really want to have a colt 1911 as it is a piece of American history, but I have had too many issues with them. Do yourself a favor and buy a TRP, or hell even a Tisas would be put together better than this CCU

A: Hi Mike and welcome. According to TALO: Built for duty or defensive use, the TALO edition 1911 Government Combat Unit in 45 ACP starts with an all stainless steel frame and slide, topped with a matte black PVD finish for extremem corrosion resistance. The frame is fitted with an extended mag well for faster mag changes, and the frontstrap is checkered for improved grip no matter the conditions. The slide includes forward cocking serrations for easier press-checks, and is topped with a Novak night sight up front, matched with a Low Mount Carry rear for an excellent sight picture day or night. An Ambi extended thumb safety, upswept beavertail grip safety and G10 grips, with scallop for easier access to the mag release, round out the package. Built using over 100 years of experience with the 1911 platform and expert input, the TALO exclusive Colt Combat Unit 1911 is an excellent choice for a duty or carry 1911. Cheers and stay safe!
