This firearm is stunning! Very nice fit and finish. Tight slide to frame fit and the stainless looks great. Had to adjust / tune the thumb safety a little bit so it snicks on and off more to my personal preference but overall I'm very happy with this purchase

I was totally disappointed with the quality of this handgun. I have had later model Gold Cup Trophy's but this one is the looses and wabblest hand gun from Colt I have ever gotten. When I received the gun I noticed the rail to receiver was extremely loose and we all know that a gun that will not return to the same spot after firing will Never be an accurate gun. Even the barrel bushing to the slide was a bit loose and not to mention the barrel lugs to the slide were well loose too. It took me a good day to Peen ( hammer ) the rails on the receiver to get the receiver and slide to tighten up enough as to be as solid as possible. Had to adjust the barrel lugs to adapt to the slide better and actually bought and installed a new barrel bushing that was actually tight to the slide and barrel. Its a Colt Gold Cup Trophy !!!! One should not have to be a gunsmith to make the darn gun minimally accurate. If you can not, or do not want to do any gunsmithing on your new Colt here. Do Not buy it !!!!
