Buds Gun shop made the...
Buds Gun shop made the purchase of the Kahr Arms CT9 quite pleasant. The Kahr Arms CT9 was rather sticky from the factory. I cleaned, serviced and lubed prior to my first range session. The CT9 fired the 9mm 124 grain ammo flawlessly for 150 rounds. Accuracy was good with 2 to 2.5 inch groups at 7 yards. The magazine spring was quite stout and required rounds 7 and 8 to be forced in. After the last round was forced in, it failed to go into battery on multiple occasion even after using the recommended slide release method. I was rather disappointed that there was only one magazine included in the purchase and that magazine was difficult to load fully. I am an enthusiast and have had many, many semi-auto pistols, by comparison, the CT9 was sub-standard. I would not recommend this pistol to shooters with weak hands, arthritis or sensitive finger tips.

This pistol is an...
This pistol is an excellent size and the trigger is fantastic (if one likes DA triggers). However, the magazine design is just bad and Kahr hasn't fixed it in 20 years. The magazines are hard to load, have extremely sharp feed lips, and tend to bleed rounds if not carried in a magazine carrier. This gun is long overdue for a magazine upgrade. Other than that it is a solid pistol.

The quality of this Kahr firearm appears good. It is very difficult/impossible to hand load the magazine to full capacity however. In my opinion, it should be easier. It was bought for home defense. I am impressed with the Bud's user friendly on line purchasing though.

Questions & Answers
Q: Recently purchased a CT9093. I physically can't seat the last bullet in the mag no matter how much pressure I apply. I assume it is new and stiff. Is there an accessory available to help with this bullet seating? Many thanks. Raymond

A: Two things the Maglula will help also let the mags sit a while with as many as you can get in them to weaken the springs slightly link to MagLula https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/92562/maglula+UP60B+Universal+Loader+and+Unloader+9mm+to+45ACP+Bla

A: To properly use the Uplula loader, load about 5-7 rounds then push them up and down in the magazine to settle and stack them tight and the last round should go. If you do not settle the rounds they will not stack well and then they take up more space so the last round won't go. This is how you do it right. Go to about 1:33 to see the stack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=X1VUOVSBUlY
