I've wanted a .44...
I've wanted a .44 auto-loader for a long time but I just couldn't justify the price. When I saw this weapon in both .44 Mag and .50AE on sale I couldn't resist. This is a beast of a weapon. I was surprised at how easy it is to swap out the barrels and convert from .44 to .50. Super easy to break down for cleaning. I had a few jams when I first shot the .44 but I quickly learned it could be rectified by changing my stance. I've been taking it to the range every week since I got it and everyone wants to check it out. Super glad I made the purchase.

A: Hello, I'm not seeing any options in the aftermarket (someone else may find something). You may have to go the custom route. Try finding a smith who's capable of machining.

A: Like Abel E said I am not seeing much in the name of aftermarket support. Magnum Research has several OEM barrels with integral muzzle brakes but unfortunately the pistols are not made to accept threaded components.

A: Ryan - All I can find is a 'conversion kit" which consists of a new slide (and 2 mags) with integral muzzle brake, made by Magnum Research. . The design of the Desert Eagle seems to not be conductive to an 'add on' brake ... and I found nothing as far as just a brake itself. Maybe someone else here can find something. We have a great assortment of shooters here and someone will be an 'expert' on the Desert Eagle and accessories. The conversion kits I found were on the Magnum Research web site (Magnum research.com) Sorry. Hopefully someone here can offer better and more specific assistance.
