I picked up this beast...
I picked up this beast today from my local FFL. I've always wanted a Magnum Research 50AE and this evening, I own one. I can tell you, this thing is a freakin beast. It's heavy and huge, just like you would expect it to be. I can't wait to sling some rounds down range. As for Buds. The purchase was flawless. This thing is a beast. Fit and finish is exquisite. Recoil is actually quite manageable given the weight of the firearm and the muzzle break. I've had.44 pistols that exhibit more felt recoil. If you are on the fence about buying one, go ahead and pull the trigger (pun intended). The buying process from Buds went flawlessly. The wait for the ACH transaction process was several days, but it was worth the wait. Will buy from Buds again.

A: It appears to be 1 magazine, but Magnum Research does have the .50ae to .44 magnum conversion kits available.

A: Normally the DE comes with 2 magazines. You can order separate barrels and slides for the DE, but they are a little expensive, straight from Magnum Research. Be sure to get the matching bolt and magazines for any caliber changes.
