I purchased this 45 in...
I purchased this 45 in August 2025. First before opening the case, I looked at the back of the case. It was all scratched up. Opening the case I found the gun was in a plastic bag and covered in something white and sticking to the bag. I never seen this before. Must be grease to protect it. I clean every gun I purchase before shooting. This gun was filthy. It came with 2 spent shells. It looked like a box of reloads with lead bullets went through the barrel. Ialso check the serial number on the gun and the serial number on the case. They were the same thank God. That's when I saw that the gun was manufactured in 2019. That's 6 years old. While taking the gun apart I noticed the recoil spring was slightly bent. I contacted Buds with my concerns. They addressed each one and assured me that the gun was new. I believe them but the RIA quality control is poor at best. I went to the range to give it a wirl. I shot 25 rounds, 5 rounds of different ammo. All rounds loaded, fired, and ejected without error. However, they all shot 3 inches down and at 4 o'clock from the bullseye at 15 ft. When I got home I checked the the sites with a barrel laser at 15 ft. With the sites on the Bullseye the laser was down 3 inches at 4 o'clock needless to say, I am disappointed."
