The pistol arrived...
The pistol arrived quickly and in good condition, wish it came with more than one magazine, but the price was right! The pistol is starting to loosen up after some dry fire and will be taking to the range next week. I ordered a new mec gar mag and installed new grips, this gun looks great and I'm hoping it shoots just as well !

Excellent 1911! I love...
Excellent 1911! I love everything about this .45ACP. Operates smoothly, and arrived very clean in a nice padded pouch and cardboard box. To my understanding, the newer ones do not come in a plastic case. I changed the grips out to some cocobola slabs, gives it a nice touch. If you're interested in a stainless compact, and not looking to spend too much while holding smooth operation and quality, this one fits the bill. The frame is steel and not aluminum, classic old school weight here. Very happy with my Rock Island Armory 1911.
