This gun is complete...
This gun is complete junk. Haven't even been able to fire it yet due to mag issues even with high quality mags. Sent it back to RIA for a warranty repair and it came back with the same problem and when I sent to seat the mag a piece of metal came flying out of the breech of the weapon and now it will not always extract the round. RIA was fast on the warranty repair but the gun is still JUNK.

All good except I only...
All good except I only recurved 1 magazine. with the pistol. I have owned many 1911's\r Including a Wilson combat and colts and was pleasantly surprised with the fit and finish on the Rock island.\r Only fired ball so far but will go to hollow point after some more break in.\r Highly recommended

A: It does have a feed ramp, a very polished feed ramp. I'm not exactly sure what extended ammo feed ramp is but your best bet is to contact Rock Island Armory customer service at Email: support@armscor.com or Phone: (775) 537-1444. I hope this helps!

Q: What's the difference in the CSL and the CS for the significant price difference?

A: CSL has G10 grips which look nicer and have better texture then the standard grips. The CSL Also has a manual thumb safety, they both have the 1911 grip safety. Csl also has better sights (fiber optic front and elevation adjustable rear, while the CL has windage drift adjustable standard sights. Other then that they are functional the same, same trigger same Skeletonized hammer etc. Is the speedier one worth the extra? Only you can decide that.

A: Daniel, the CSL is the Ultra model and has Dovetail fiber optic front sight and LPA MPS1 type adjustable rear sight, and it has G10 Black/Grey Tactical Grips. The CS is the Standard model and comes with front dovetail standard sight and low profile angled fixed rear sight, and has checkered rubber grips. They both come with ambidextrous thumb safety.
