The Rock Island Armory TCM Standard FS is a 1911-style .22 TCM semi-automatic pistol built on a 4140 ordnance steel platform and hand-fitted for a tight, consistent feel. Designed around the Armscor 22 TCM cartridge, it features a 5-inch barrel with low recoil and penetrating impact characteristics, plus a skeltonized hammer and trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop.

This was a purchase on the whim. Pure impulse as I didn't not have a 1911 in this cartridge. I have shoot two full mags of 22tcm9r through it with out a hickup. Double stacked 1911s at this price are rare to function as well as this gun has. It was packaged well and absolutely covered in sticky grease and oil and took a lot of cleaning (a lot) when opened up out of the plastic. This round is a banger. Loud and fast with no felt recoil except the slide moving. Hits steel hard and I have been shooting it at double the distance I usually shoot pistols because of the velocity this round. Over all it is a exceptional buy and price from Buds. Love it.
