Questions & Answers
Q: Whats the difference between this xdm elite and the other xdm elite 3.8? Is it the 10 round limit ? Or is it a completely different set up , I'm noticing it also does not the same grip on the bottom as the other xdm models

A: Hi Marcellus and welcome. Same models but the one has the flared magazine well attachment, longer grip and different capacity magazine. The CA version has a 10rd magazine and no flared magazine well attachment. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

A: Hi Marcellus, the one you linked to is the CA compliant XDM Elite. The other one is the XDM Elite Compact with 14rd magazine. It has a shorter grip because it is the compact model. Stay safe & have a great day!

Q: I see a few pistols listed as Ca compliant, 10 round magazine. Is there something special about gun or mag ? Will it accept larger mags if I live in a normal state or only work with Cali mag ??

A: Hi John and welcome. Most manufacturers make 10rd packages so their firearms can be sold in capacity restricted states. Both firearms will take either the lower capacity or the higher capacity magazines just the same. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

A: Hi John, there is nothing special about it. SA paid the $200 extortion fee to have it put on the CA approved handgun roster. It is the same as the other models and will accept higher capacity magazines. Stay safe & have a great day!

A: Good evening to you!! A California compliant firearm meets certain requirements and the manufacturer pays a fee to get their firearms on the list. You can buy these guns living in free states and they will operate with larger capacity magazines. Hope this helps. Have a good rest of your day.

A: CA firearms are ones that have been added to the CA DOJ approved gun Roster because the Companies/manufacturers of said firearms paid the CA Blackmail/extortion fee for approval. Also, these CA "Approved" firearms only come with 10 magazines, but can most certainly take the larger capacity magazines if compatible.
