I have to say, this...
I have to say, this pistol feels awesome in your hand. But as far as functionality I have to say it has been subpar performance. I shot Federal Target grade 40 grain rounds and the first 10 rounds fed and ejected like butter. Rounds 11-25 would fire but would not eject the cartridge. I switched to Winchester Silvertip 37-grain rounds and rounds 26-40 would fire but would not eject the cartridge. Winchester and Federal are great rounds that work in all my handguns and rifles so , I really don't know about this Walther handgun. I am going to try CCI ammo but as of right now I am very frustrated with this handgun. Not sure how much break-in this pistol needs.

A: Being Walter arms, came through the US factory in Fort Smith AR. Originally Walther's came from Germany.

A: If the barrel is stamped with "DE", it denotes Deutschland manufacturing. Other than that, it's produced stateside. I own one of these little guys and I love it. It has the "DE" barrel stamp, so mine is from Germany. Great plinker.

A: Kevin - Per teh Walther Web site: This pistol comes from the factory with "8X.075 Metric threads" - you will need an adapter (which can be found at the following link) to adapt the barrel to 1/2"X28 threads. Adapter comes with a thread protector. www.opticsplanet.com/walther-threaded-p22-barrel-adapter.html Buds normally carries the adapters, but is out of stock. This pistol is not 1/2X28 threaded from the factory.
