Bought two of them and...
Bought two of them and am pleased with them both; 38 Specials. Charter Arms are inexpensive handguns that have been around and been reliable for decades, some call them "cheap" handguns. That's okay, they can make fun if they like, but if the s___ jumps off I'll more than likely have a 3-10 feet distance to work with and "pretty" or "expensive" won't matter anymore.

Q: Can someone please tell me if a moon clip is required with this gun?, if so, could you recommend a 38 special comes without a moon clip. I don't like them ☺

A: Robert, all 38 special, 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum revolvers don't require moon clips. The only revolvers that require Moon clips are semi automatic calibers like 380acp, 9mm, 40 S&W because they are rimless cartridges and the moon clip holds them in place. All 38 special revolvers don't require moon clips. So as long as it's 38 special any revolver you purchase won't require moon clips. Hope this helps.
