Received this fantastic looking Cimarron Model P Cavalry 45 made by Uberti and the fit and finish is in my opinion perfect. The color case finish is rich and well done and it has the Charcoal blue screws that look fantastic and also came with the charcoal blue large knurled cylinder pin but mine did not come with the regular one that screws all the way in. Run around 100 rounds thru and shot on the money at 25 yards. This pistol has all the correct Calvary markings and this came with the (I) company markings to go with my nickel Scout model. Cimarron has made sure 100 % that this pistol is correct to the original one they sent to Uberti and you can tell in the detail. Thanks Cimmaron and thanks to Buds for your fast shipping and great prices so if you are looking for a one of a kind Colt style pistol with the 4 click here you go :)

I like it. Fit and...
I like it. Fit and finish is very good. It's a 4 click. COLT tight tolerance. Nice trigger, excellent blueing and Case Harding. The one piece grips fit very well. The sights are fine but hard for my old eyes to see. I would be better served with wider front and rear sights but that's the way that the original guns were made. It's a a very good representation of the US Calvary COLT SSA . It shoots a bit left and low with my head loads but not bad. I like the fact that it has a removable bushing like the original. Great gun buy it. You will not regret it.

A: I cant find that information I suggest that you contact Cimarron and ask them 1-877-SIXGUN1 (1-877-749-4861) "George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry Model. The Custer 7th Cavalry Model is a very accurate copy of the first U.S. Gov't models of 1873. These early firearms are inspected for ordinance by civilian inspector Orville W. Ainsworth, shipped to Ft. Lincoln and used by troops of the 7th Cavalry under the command of Gen. George Armstrong Custer. Each authentic firearm is properly marked with "Ainsworth" inspection markings, OWA Cartouche, 2 line patent dates and U.S. on the frame. Stamped into the butt of the backstrap is the company and 7th Cavalry markings. Production of this model is limited to 2000 units each of the 5 companies (C,E,F,I,L) that will perish under Custer's command at Little Big Horn."
