I ordered this...
I ordered this revolver on a Wed and was called that it was available to pick up Thursday, crazy fast. It is my 3rd time ordering from Buds, and I plan to continue. \r \r I have not had this revolver out to the range yet, but I am very pleased with the out of the box overview. I knew going in it has the floating firing pin as well as 3 clicks. I still am very happy with all the moving parts, feel, look and everything. I have no concern it will shoot as well as it looks. Thanks Buds

Very happy with this...
Very happy with this gun. The checkered grips are a nice touch, and the color of the case hardening seems a lot more natural than the standard Cattleman revolver. This gun is Taylors brand, but it is manufactured by A. Uberti in Italy. Even comes in an Uberti box. A single action six-shooter like this may not be the most practical gun nowadays, but I'd be lying if I said this gun wasn't more fun to shoot than any other firearm I own. On a day at the range with friends, we had 5 hanguns between us including a 357 magnum revolver and a silenced semi-automatic 9mm, and this old-school six gun is the one everybody wanted to shoot again and again. If you're on the fence, just go for it. You won't regret picking this one up.

Questions & Answers
Q: Does this make and model have the floating firing pin or the bar? I have been having trouble finding out. I have contacted Uberti and Taylors and Co, heard nothing.

A: Sean, this will depend on the date of manufacture. Taylor's. Uberti and Pietta have recently gonw to the "Floating Pin" for safety. I would have Buds Customer Service verify with their Inventory department whether or not this batch of Pistols have this feature at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm 7 days a week.

A: Sean - yes, it does ... it DOES have the floating firing pin. Taylors&Co have used this design for the past couple of years now. Steve P has cited a source nearly 2 1/2 years old - and not up to date. No surprise there though.

Q: Does this gun really have "3-Dot Sights"? Looks to me from the picture that it's really blade front and notched rear and not 3-dot.
