Very happy with this...
Very happy with this revolver. I bought it because it's the size every carry revolver should be: 3" barrel and six shot cylinder. Plus the exposed hammer, no-snag sights, grips, and wide flat trigger, are all great. It's not much heavier than the lcrx, is cooler/better looking, and packs an extra round. I will say the trigger in DA is heavier and not as nice as an S&W or a Ruger etc. but hey, it's half the price. I painted the front sight with some orange enamel paint because it is dark and slow to pick up as standard (and the Ameriglo Taurus sight has been out of stock). Pleasantly surprised with accuracy at the range. Very tight groups at 7 yards, the biggest impediment being the trigger in DA. Happily, the most accurate ammo was .357 158-gr JHP. Next was .38spl 125gr FMJ and 132gr FMJ shot about equally, and sadly hydrashock .38spl +P 129-gr was last in that group (a little low and left). So .357 JHPs it is, fine by me! Final comment, recoil is manageable but definitely punchier with the .357. Can go all day with the .38 loads though, soft and easy on the factory rubber grips.

Just like American Rifleman said Rossi is back! Buy it wonderful bang for the buck. Heavy double action but with the wide trigger its manageable. Has high point of impact with full power 158 grain but right on with the 125. 38 all on as well little variation. I was hesitant about the fixed sights but they have been solid. Now im going to add the other models while there available. Solid gun.
