Taurus 650 .357 Mag Revolver

I ordered the Taurus...

I ordered the Taurus 650 back in Feb and received it in early March. I inspected it before taking possession from the FFL but when I got it home I realized there was an issue. I loaded it with snap caps and proceeded to dry fire it. That was fine but I could not release the cylinder to unload it (good thing they weren't live rounds). I contacted Buds for a replacement but it was too late since I had taken possession from the FFL. Note - make sure, best that you can, that everything is correct before accepting it since you cannot return it after. I contacted Taurus, shipped the gun to them and waited 2 weeks to find out that "it has been determined that the firearm is unable to be repaired". I still cannot get a refund but they are willing to replace the gun or give me credit towards a different model. So now I wait another 6-8 weeks for a replacement which has to ship to the FFL. I'm sure I will incur additional costs for the transfer and any administration costs with the local authorities (NJ) to correct the SN on file. I can't comment on how well the gun shoots as I have still never fired it. I will update this review once I get the replacement.
