My wife had been carrying my Grandpa's.S&W .32 for the past twenty years. She wanted a .38 and I was concerned about the additional power but went ahead and bought her this pistol for her birthday and she loves it. I am surprised that the recoil is much lighter than I anticipated. She's had no problem controlling it and of course she likes the stainless frame and pink grips.After firing this 642 I liked it so much I ordered myself a model 638. S&W still makes solid handguns and Buds is still the best place to get the best prices on new firearms.

I love my new...
I love my new revolver! It fits my hand perfectly and it's not heavy, like so many others are. I still need a lot of practice with my shooting, but it's getting better each time I do it. I would recommend this revolver to anyone, but especially to people that can't lift and hold much weight. Doing business with Bud's was very easy. It was also quick.
