This is my first SAA...
This is my first SAA type revolver. The fit and finish is good, not great. However the colors in the CCH of the frame is very aesthetically appealing. The gun has a very solid feel. I hope that after a couple hundred rounds I will find the gun in the same or similar condition. I don't intend on running too many 357s through the gun compared to 38s but I hope this gun is capable of handling a fairly steady diet of 357 nonetheless. For the aesthetics and price, I feel like this is money well spent and no matter how many or how few rounds get sent through this gun it will always be an enjoyable piece to have in the collection.

Questions & Answers
Q: Does this version have the new floating firing pin system like the cattlemen II model. Because I'm wondering whether or not the gun has those distinct 4 clicks like a real replica should. And I understand the added safety benefits of the floating firing pin system, but I won't be buying a single action revolver from anyone without those beautiful 4 clicks of the hammer.

(1) ANSWER
A: Andrew, this model does not according to my research. Currently the "Floating Firing Pin" design is only the Cattlemen II's. However, I would still contact Taylor's and Company to confirm before you purchase at Phone: 540.722.2017 or email contact at : (http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/contact-us)
