A: Preston, this just has a standard milspec trigger. You can purchase a jp Enterprise reduced power trigger spring kit for roughly $10. It's a spring kit you can use with any standard milspec trigger to reduce the pull down to roughly 3-3.5 pounds. I have ars with good drop in triggers and I have ones that I've polished the trigger on and added the spring kit and they're just as good as expensive drop in triggers. Hope this helps

A: Hi Alex, this has a fixed magazine, so it is NJ legal. The Daniel Defense California compliant design prevents the magazine release button from being engaged while fully assembled, locking the magazine into the receiver. To release the magazine from the rifle, the shooter will be required separate the upper from the lower by pulling on an extended (rear) takedown pin with an attached cord to make the process easier.
