Have yet to shoot the...
Have yet to shoot the gun. But the fit and finish are first class. It's a different level as compared to the low cost, inexpensive rimfire revolvers that Heritage puts out. The shotgun is relatively compact, solid build with nice and tight and pristine furniture. If it shoots as well as it looks, it's definitely a winner. Heritage is upping its game. The quality of the Badlander will put Heritage in to another class. Hopefully others will take the leap and we will see more new, higher quality stuff from Heritage.

A: Yes, the Heritage Manufacturing Badlander Side-By-Side 12 Gauge Break Open Shotgun is designed to take chokes. The Field models, in particular, are threaded for Mobil chokes, allowing the user to adjust the pattern for short or long-range shots according to thefirearmblog.com. While the original Badlander models might have had fixed cylinder bore barrels with no chokes, the Field models introduced a choke system. The Field models specifically have 28-inch barrels and are designed to accept Mobil chokes.
