Ny compliant shoots great it's worth the money .My only complaint is I live in NY so it cost me more money because of the paddle. Definitely a good budget rifle.

I just love this...
I just love this weapon. After taking the dumbass paddle off which all it took was a screwdriver and adding a red dot sight it morphed into a very durable long gun. I can take the X out of a man size paper target at 70 ft with ease which is about all the room I have cleared on my target range. I am not sure why Hi Point carbines get bad reviews from some people. I have three Hi Point weapons and have not had any problems out of any of them. They cycle the ammo perfect every time and I use a lot of different brands in them with no problems. This 9 mm is heavy like most Hi Points but shoots very smooth with hardly any recoil. If you want a fun weapon to shoot and a durable carbine then you should try this one. You may want to hurry because the prices for them keep going up every time I run across them. Do not listen to the HI Point haters and try this gun for yourself for some fun no problem shooting. You will be glad you did.... Thank again BUDS
