This is exactly what I wanted. Don't overlook the 22 wmr from S & W this rifle has a ultra smooth lever action, very nice sights and very accurate right out of the box. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lever action that's super fun to shoot.

A: no you CAN NOT shoot 22 long or 22long rifle ammo in a 22WMR the 22 wmr case is larger than a standard 22 (Short, long or long rifle) upon firing the case could rupture and spray out hot gases and case shrapnel.
