I actually bought this...
I actually bought this as a joke since my kids are all teenagers or older. This is now one of our favorite guns. Put 3-9x40 scope on it (almost bigger than the gun). It is surprisingly accurate. Easy to use and fire, never had any issues with, I would highly recommend it for all ages.

The Savage Rascal is a great little rifle that can be used to help teach younger shooters some basic fundamentals of operating a bolt action. The quality is good and what you would expect from Savage. The peep sights are pretty accurate. Again, it's a good starter rifle to help teach the younger shooters.
