I have always wanted a...
I have always wanted a 16 gauge sxs. When I went to pull the trigger this year and get one, this was the remaining option. I was a little hesitant, but purchased before I lost this opportunity too. Upon receipt, the gun displayed good wood to metal fit, a deep good looking bluing and stock, tight fit, and has a full set of chokes. I was impressed at what had arrived. I continue to get unsolicited comments on how nice the case colored receiver looks too. I took it out to the trap range - the gun handles nice. Balanced well. Ejectors work well. While very tight out of the box, the action is easy to operate. I am very impressed with the product. I would not hesitate to purchase this gun.

For a modern sxs this...
For a modern sxs this is a really nice shotgun. It has a nice finish on the metal as well as the wood. The case coloring on the receiver is beautiful. I'm very fond of the fact i have the ability to change out chokes to suit my purpose at a given time. I also like the fact it has ejectors instead of extractors. Lock up is very tight and stiff still but i consider that a good thing and expect it to break in just fine. I haven't shot it much but so far it does very well. I look forward to knocking down some squirrels with it this fall. I know it's a Tristar and price wise they are more budget priced usually but i consider it to be one of their most high end models. Cheaper to buy however don't always mean cheaply made. I'm giving 4 out of 5 simply because i haven't used it very much yet, i am proud i bought it!

A: Hi Charles and welcome. Unloaded weight is 6.55lbs and 6.62lbs with 2rds of 16ga shells. The incorrect chamber of 3 inches has been corrected to the actual chamber size of 2 3/4 inches. Cheers and stay safe!
