The mag pug handles...
The mag pug handles nice and feels good in the hand. Put 50 rounds through without any problems. I thought the finish looked great. I saw no defects or finish marks and the fit looked good to me also. Looking forward to many good times with this firearm and feel I can rely on it if needed.

Questions & Answers
Q: I've read reviews indicating that the Mag Pug shoots low by several inches at 15 yards which owners adjusted by filing down the front sight. Has Charter remedied this problem on current Mag Pug models?

A: it should be correct for shooting at 25 yards so it may be a little low at 15 but I would rather the front sight be a little tall than a little short if you only shoot at 15 yards feel free to file away but tray the gun 1st its a snub nosed .357 its not a supper accurate Olympic pistol

A: That sounds about right Jim.

A: Jim, this is a common issue on most snubs. My opinion is if you file down your front sight you are modifying (forever) the gun to your one load and inadvertently this will affect any future load whether negatively or positively. I would match the load to my gun by trying different/heavier loads to bring POI down as lighter bullets tend to print lower in snubs. Now if you are already settled in on a preferred load and have tons of it then filing may work for you.

Q: Just wondering if this happens to have a plastic trigger guard. I bought my wife a charter arms revolver (chic Lady) and the trigger guard on that one was plastic.

A: I cant find that info listed anywhere so I suggest you call charter arms to be 100% sure the old pug I have is metal but that may have changed Phone: Toll free (866)-769-4867 or use the contact link https://charterfirearms.com/pages/contact-us

A: William, the trigger guard on the PUG is "Steel" Sir.

A: William - from what I see on the gun forums, the Pug has a metal trigger guard. The 'undercover' and "XXX lady" models have plastic trigger guards.
