I was a little...
I was a little hesitant ordering this, since I've had a negative Taurus experience in the past. This time, I'm not disappointed. It's my first revolver, so it handles very differently from a pistol. The recoil is very direct, yet the weight and the ported barrel absorbs it nicely. Accuracy is top notch; tight grouping and height/windage adjustable sights. The grip is decent; I'll probably replace it with a Hogue Monogrip, but it's low on my list. The only issue I had was when shooting Fiocchi Range Dynamics; on the 6th or 7th shot the hammer would not lock back. I'd have to open the cylinder and realign the chamber for it to lock work again. I haven't had this issue with New Republic ammo, which is what I prefer anyway. 5 stars, the low price makes up for the slight shortcoming.

Questions & Answers
Q: What would be total cash price on this firearm ?
Author: Jerry H.
(2) ANSWERS
A: $411.00 would be the grand total if paying with the cash option. Then all additional fees are optional.
Author: Jason T.
A: Current price is $408 - out the door. Keep in mind that Bud's prices update every 20 minutes so any price anyone gives you is only valid for 20 minutes. The additional fees YOU can choose from Bud's are shipping insurance and Lifetime Warranty. Both are available to you at checkout. Other fees for the purchase will be based on local and States taxes and your FFL. The State may collect sales tax (usually not but...) and the State will most likely impose a transfer/background check fee. Finally the FFL will most likely impost an FFL transfer fee. Some of these costs are listed in Bud's FFL listing. Others are not. For best information speak with your local FFL for their fees and local/State requirements.

Q: Can you hunt with this gun
Author: Lamar G.
(2) ANSWERS
A: Yes you can here as well. Same things apply by researching your local hunting laws regarding firearms and ammunition. This would be a better option than the AR 9mm Pistol.
Author: James G.
A: Yes, the .357 works great for hunting deer sized animals. Some states have regulations on minimum barrel lengths, so be sure to check out your state's hunting regulations before purchasing.

Q: What grip would work best for this? I have larger hands and always need one.
Author: Joseph A.
(4) ANSWERS
A: Your best bet would be a nice set of pachmayr grips. They work great and have different sizes available, They also offer finger grooves as well. I have bigger hands and I have pachmayr grips on most of my revolvers including my 480 ruger and they work and fit great. Hope this helps.
Author: Michael V.
A: The Taurus 627 tracker is noted to come with thinner grips that fit a variety of hand sizes. Many reviews and chat rooms discuss the many varieties and choices you have to choose from. Top contenders that rise to the tops consistently are Hogue, Pachmayr, Diamond Pro and Delta Ergo... From experience, i have multiple grips for many of my firearms and narrowing my choices down have sometimes been an expensive venture. Next time I fit a gun to my hand, ill do so by testing rentals at a range and using the collective experience of others. Cheers!

A: I have a Taurus tracker in 22\22mag. I replaced the factory grips with Houge gripswith finger groves. If you look around you can find these for around 20 dollars.
Author: Zack A.
A: Too bad its too small for you. I love the feel of those Tracker rubber grips, I think it helps control the recoil a bit. Taurus should make a larger version of them.
