I am really happy...
I am really happy overall with my purchase Buds got it to the FFL on time as expected. My FFL did a great job even though I was delayed. One magazine was missing the follower but S&W took care of that and sent me one right away. The gun itself shot flawlessly and super accurate.

Author: Rodrigo C.
(3) ANSWERS
A: Rodrigo, unfortunately even without the magazine this isn't legal in California due to the pistol grip. Sorry but hope this helps. If interested here's a link to California's restrictions.................... budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/arizona_restrictions.pdf

A: Hi Rodrigo and welcome to the Community. No Sir. The Pistol Grip is not CA legal. Cheers and stay safe! Q: can one use +P and/or +P+ ammo in this?
Author: Robert G.
(4) ANSWERS
A: Robert, +P ammo is ok. From the ownwers manual - . • "Plus-P" (+P) ammunition generates pressures in excess of the pressures associated with standard ammunition. Such pressures may affect the wear characteristics and may result in the need for more frequent service. • "Plus-P-Plus" (+P+) ammunition must NOT be used in Smith & Wesson® firearms. This marking on the ammunition designates that it exceeds established industry standards, but the designation does not represent defined pressure limits and therefore such am- munition may vary significantly as to the pressures generated and could be DANGEROUS. . Stay safe & have a great day!
Author: Ed C.
A: Hi Robert and welcome to the Buds Community. +P ammunition is not an issue. Smith and Wesson and other manufacturers baulk at +P+ due to mostly warranty reasons although most modern barrels can handle +p+ no issue. Just make sure to do more frequent inspections and cleaning intervals if you plan on running a steady diet of +P ammunition. Cheers and stay safe!
Author: James G.
A: Personally, I would NOT use +P+ ammo due to the much higher pressures associated with these rounds. A light diet of +P I do not see a problem with.
Author: Jason L.
A: Robert, yes sir, +p ammo is perfectly fine in this. As with any manufacturer they recommend limited use since it can wear parts quicker than standard velocity ammo but honestly unless you're shooting thousands of rounds doubt you'll ever notice a difference vs standard velocity ammo. Just don't shoot +p+ ammo threw it. Hope this helps.

A: It's a huge no on this model, sorry. Semi-auto with a detachable magazine & pistol grip makes thus a no-no in Washington.
Author: Jason L.
A: Hi Tanya, unfortunately this is not legal. The pistol grip is the deal beaker. Prohibited - A semiautomatic, center fire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and has - A grip that is independent or detached from the stock that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon. The addition of a fin attaching the grip to the stock does not exempt the grip if it otherwise resembles the grip found on a pistol. budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/washington_restrictions.pdf , Stay safe & have a great day!

Q: Dose it use the same Mags as the 5903 or 6906
Author: Steve W.
(1) ANSWER
A: Steve, no, the M&P FPC is compatible with M&P full-size and compact pistol double-stack magazines and includes one 17 round magazine and two 23 round magazines. So mags for the 5906 and 6906 won't fit.
